Washtenaw County 4-H Youth show highlights animals, projects

The Washtenaw County 4-H Youth Show at the Farm Council Grounds will be happening all day July 26 and 27, and will showcase what 4-H members have been up to throughout the year.

Its a week to show your animals against everyone else, see old friends and make money, 16-year-old Grant Bater told the Chelsea Update.

The event features animals and still projects from 4-H youth members, and also hosts contests for participants such as a chocolate chip cookie contest and a cupcake. Youths took home certificates for best presentation, judges choice, and best tasting.

The event takes place at 5055 Ann Arbor-Saline Road and is open to the public. Parking and admission are all free.
